Mothers’s Day At Asda
Asda have some cute Mother’s day gifts available In store now, here are some of my cute finds:
Bayliss and Harding’s “Beauticology” set This is £8 and is a box filled with relaxing treats. Inside you will find a body wash, body butter and bath soak crystals.
- The Mothers Day cushion is really well made and only £6, which is a real bargain. The cover is 100% cotton and is machine washable.
- The “Home is Where my Mum is” wooden plaque is a really lovely little gift that could be bought with pocket money for only £6.
- The “Best Mum” plant (not real) is only £4 and is a great gift to accompany some yummy chocolates, or simply on its own as a cute token. Your mum can then look at her cute plant all year round and she doesn’t need to worry about watering it.
- Last but not least the “Mums Gin” tumbler glass. Every mum will need one of these to use after a long day, or week. The glass is only £2 which is my cheapest find.
Mother’s Day At Next
Next have some really lovely Mothers Day gifts in store. I have given the Next selection my ” Michy Favourite Finds” badge.
- The Next “Loveliest Mum” cushion is £10, the quality is really good and the cushion itself is really squishy. The cushion cover is machine washable and 100% cotton. The detail on the front of the cushion is really pretty sing 3D felt flowers to form a bouquet. I would definitely buy this for my Mum.
- The A5 ” Mummy” notepad is £4. It’s a simple, but very cute design. This is a lovely gift that could be bought using pocket money that Mummy can use to write her endless lists and to do’s in.
- The ” Mummy” candle is £6 and is a white jasmine fragrance, the candle burns for up to 40 hours which is really good.
- The “Mum” mug is £4.50, so again a great gift to be bought using pocket money. The mug is made form bone china and is microwavable and washing machine safe.
- I chose the hand creams as a “Michy Great Gift” badge for Mothers day. You get 3 hand creams that are all chocolate flavoured. Definitely something I would like. They are priced at £7 and you get cherry chocolate, salted caramel, chocolate and a mint chocolate flavours. All hand creams are added with vitamin E.
- Next do a great range of mini real fresh plants in cute pots at the moment. I would chose the cute cat potted plant as a nice gift for Mothers Day, priced at £5 each.
- Last but not least, a yummy fragrance candle (I LOVE candles). Next are doing some really scrumptious new fragrance candles at the moment. I chose the strawberries and cream scent which will make your home smell amazing and will burn for up to 40 hours. The boxed pretty candle is only £5.
Mother’s Day At Matalan
Matalan have quite a selection for Mothers Day this year. I have chosen a few of my favourite finds to show you.
- The ” Mum you’re One in a Million” cushion is so pretty, the metallic stitching on the front really catches your eye. The cushion is £8 and mainly made from Polyester, the cute pink pom pom edging really finishes it off.
- The “# Mumlife” slogan mug set is only £8 and includes a yummy biscuit and cute goodies. A perfect mothers day gift (they also do Nan and Glam-ma versions).
- The “Mum you’re one in a million” scented candle is so cute , it is presented in a really pretty floral flip over box. Priced at £5 I think this is definitely worth it.
- The “Worlds Greatest Mum” drinks coaster is a steal at only £2, it’s wipe clean only, but a perfect little extra to buy with a mothers day mug.
- Another cute cushion from Matalan in the Mothers day range, soft pink and gold metallic colours make it very feminine and pretty. The cushion reads ” Mum Marvellous Amazing Caring Beautiful Fabulous Lovely Wonderful“. The cushion is priced at £8 and is fringed with pink pom pom detail. A beautiful gift for your mum that she can place on her sofa or bed and be reminded how amazing she is.
Mother’s Day At M&S
Marks and Spencer really have some beautiful gifts and homeware in at the moment, perfect for any occasion but great for Mothers day.
- M&S selection of beautifully boxed various scented candles £7.50 15hr burn time.
- Lavender and Chamomile potpourri £7.50 perfect to make your home smell beautiful.
- Mum mini print and stitch floral cushion £12, machine washable and 100% cotton.
- Mum floral print mug ( matches the cushion) £6 , 100% china and hand wash only.
- Grapefruit and Ginger potpourri , looks great presented in the original box and smells divine £7.50.

B&M are known for their amazing bargin’s, they have so many fun and beautiful gifts for ” Mum” this year:
- Mummy hen and little chick cute mug set, this is really sweet and would be a perfect gift from a younger family member ( my 4 year old would love to get me this knowing I love mugs and that we would be matching) . Only £2.99 and also available in other designs.
